Chargebacks occur when consumers dispute a charge that was previously paid to the business. They may be dissatisfied with the service or claim they did not initiate the charge.

A chargeback is initiated by the bank that issued the card. and the money for the transaction is deducted from your daily deposit. The business has an opportunity to refute the consumer’s claim if the chargeback is unwarranted. If you win the dispute, the funds are returned to your account.

If you lose the dispute, you will receive a Pre Arbitration notice. This notice will look similar to the original chargeback and provide the business the opportunity to send the case to Arbitration.

CAUTION: If you respond to a Pre Arbitration case and lose again in Arbitration, the card associations (Visa, MC, etc…) charge an arbitration fee of $500 or more. Please contact us if you would like to respond to a Pre Arbitration case so we can review your options.

Launched in 2007, Indigo provides thousands of businesses with secure, cost-effective ways to accept payments. Our revenue-generating solutions and unique rate guarantees position our merchants for exciting growth. Since its inception, Indigo has maintained the highest possible rating with the Better Business Bureau, providing exceptional service and client satisfaction.

Earning your business one transaction at a time has been our motto for nearly two decades. Unlike competitors, we guarantee your rates. That means Indigo merchants never experience rate increases! Just as important, we don’t require long-term commitment. You are free to leave at any time for any reason without penalty. Indigo is committed to treating every transaction as the most important.

Indigo’s Guarantee is clear: “We will never raise your rates. There are no start-up fees. And you’ll never pay to leave.” Our Guarantee is like no other in the payment industry. The rates we offer in the beginning are yours to keep.

Many payment providers offer low introductory rates to get your business then raise those rates multiple times per year. Competitors require contracts with early termination fees, locking you in as they increase rates. At Indigo, we won’t raise your rates, you’re not locked into a long-term agreement, and you’ll never pay to leave.

Indigo is headquartered in Atlanta, GA and staffed with industry professionals who answer calls in less than 30 seconds. Most issues are resolved in one call. If that’s not the case, we will work with you until there is a satisfactory resolution.

Through our partnership with Clover, Indigo offers Clover Capital.

Clover Capital is not a loan but a purchase of future processing receipts. Payback is based on sales produced through split funding of credit card receivables. Unlike competitors, there is no fixed monthly fee and no exposure to costly ACH overdraft fees.

Indigo Plus is a program that provides processing equipment insurance (terminals/PIN pads/printers) and supplies (paper/printer ribbons/imprinter slips) to merchants for a nominal monthly fee.

Indigo uses standalone credit card machines and POS systems to process credit card payments. Models include Fiserv-based credit card machines and pin pads, and First Data’s line of terminals and pin pads. Indigo is also a direct reseller of the entire Clover line, which is our top POS solution.

In some instances, it is possible to use existing equipment. Contact us to confirm the equipment is compatible with Indigo’s payment processing. If new equipment is required, Indigo offers very affordable purchase and rental options.

You can purchase equipment at a low price or pay for the equipment over four months (8 monthly payments available on Clover Products).
There’s a reason many processors aggressively push equipment leasing programs onto their customers – it generates significant recurring monthly revenue for the processor. Credit card, check and ACH-Debit equipment are very reasonably priced. As a result, the long-term savings from buying equipment can quickly offset upfront costs, especially if those costs are divided over the first few months of the equipment’s deployment. In most cases, processors who lease equipment are taking advantage of the merchant.

With Indigo, you can purchase equipment at a low price or pay for the equipment over four months (8 monthly payments available on Clover Products). In the long run, your costs will be significantly lower than a lease Agreement.

Transactions processed and settled (batched) before a certain time each day are funded the next day. The cutoff times vary based on the processing equipment and platform. Contact us to confirm the cutoff time for your business.
