No. There are no startup costs, participation fees, contracts, or financial commitments required to participate in the Indigo Church Program.
Will our church need to sell payment processing?
No. Your role is simply to introduce business owners who may benefit from Indigo.
Indigo handles the Payment Analysis, personalized proposal, implementation, employee training, customer support, and ongoing account management.
How involved does our staff need to be?
Very little.
Most churches introduce the program through the communication channels they already use—email, bulletins, their website, and other member communications.
Interested business owners contact Indigo directly, and Indigo takes it from there.
Will our church have administrative responsibilities?
No. Indigo manages the payment-processing side of the program. There are no merchant accounts to administer, reports to prepare, or customer-service responsibilities for your church.
How does our church receive financial support?
When a participating business becomes an Indigo client, Indigo shares a portion of the revenue generated from that relationship with your church.
The financial support comes entirely from Indigo and does not increase the business owner’s payment processing costs.

How soon does financial support begin?
Once a participating business begins processing with Indigo, it starts generating financial support for your church.
After the business completes its first month of processing, your church will receive its first monthly residual payment within the following weeks.
Monthly residual payments continue for as long as the business remains an Indigo client.
Can parishioners refer business owners who don’t attend our church?
Yes.
The business owner does not have to attend your church.
Parishioners can introduce friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors, or other business owners they know to Indigo.
When a referred business becomes an Indigo client:
Your church receives ongoing financial support from Indigo.
The parishioner who made the referral receives a one-time $200 referral payment from Indigo.
Indigo handles everything from the introduction forward.
Can we recognize businesses that participate in the program?
Yes. This is completely optional.
Churches may choose to create a Business Supporters page on their website recognizing businesses that participate in the Indigo Church Program.
Participating businesses can be listed by category with their contact information, website, and, if the church chooses, special offers or promotions for parishioners.
This gives participating businesses additional visibility while giving church members an opportunity to support the businesses that support their church.
Will businesses pay higher rates because they are supporting our church?
No.
Business owners receive the same competitive pricing and payment solutions they would receive through any Indigo relationship.
The church’s financial support is funded entirely by Indigo.
What types of businesses can participate?
Nearly any business that accepts credit cards or electronic payments can potentially benefit from the Indigo Church Program.
This includes restaurants, retailers, medical practices, professional offices, contractors, nonprofit organizations, service businesses, and many others.
What if a business owner already has a payment processor?
That’s expected. Other than a new business, virtually every business considering Indigo will already have a payment processor.
Many businesses choose Indigo after discovering opportunities to reduce costs, improve customer service, or implement better payment technology.
Others simply appreciate receiving a complimentary second opinion through our Payment Analysis.
What if Indigo can’t improve their current program?
We’ll tell them.
Our goal is to build long-term relationships, not simply convince businesses to change processors.
